"The Herding Instinct Test", Bing Blog 17 -- March 3, 2006

Bing's herding instinct test took place on February 18 at Raspberry Ridge Sheep Farm. Bing had seen sheep before; you can see that footage from when he was only a few months old on this website. That was the hottest day of the summer, with temps in the mid to upper 90s with humidity to match. The day of the herding instinct test boasted temps in the teens to low 20s, with wind chills in the single digits.

"Stunned & Stunning", Bing Blog 58 -- October 8, 2011

Bing had 2 chances to get 2 QQQs, and he needed to be perfect. He had to get a 195 or higher in Level 1, 2 and 3 of a trial, twice. No room for error.
His scores? 205, 209, 207, 209, 207 and, for the finale, a perfect 210. Amazing. Bing LOVES to work.

Bing ran with Ann Allums. At the time she was the Special Progams Coordinator for the APDT (she runs the Rally program), whom he had never met. They did it for exhibition, for Ann's practice and experience, and he was GREAT! He enjoyed doing rally with a complete stranger…atta boy!
