Day School Program for Dogs at Great Companions
Great Companions has the tools and the methods that are hard to find in a normal home setting. This is the
perfect place for a canine learning gym.
This program is for those who struggle to have enough time in the day to devote to teaching all the skills their young dog needs. It’s hard to leave your youngster at home for long hours while you go off to work! Even if you work from home, it can be hard to give a puppy enough mental and physical stimulation to keep everyone’s sanity.
The goal for The Learning Gym at Great Companions is to provide a thorough introduction to manners, fitness, socialization, obedience skills, and self-confidence.
The Learning Gym at Great Companions is for puppies 3-12 months and will run on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am-1pm. The Learning Gym is presented in 4-week sessions and must be paid for in full prior to the start of the 4- week session. Dogs attend both the
Wednesday and Friday sessions for 4 weeks.
Izzy learns to deal with unusual objects and situations.
The fee for The Learning Gym sessions is $700. The daily structure will include:
• Individual hourly training sessions
• Hourly loose-leash walking practice and sniffy walk
• Hourly interactive experience with obstacles to develop body awareness and confidence
• Mandatory down time in crate or exercise pen with interactive toys/chewies

Space is limited for this program.
Dogs MUST already be accustomed to being crated in order to participate in this program.
Dogs MUST have DHLPP and Rabies vaccines (when old enough) to participate in this program.

A good mix of exercise time, learning and crate time, and all training is positive reforcement based.
Agiligym -- Agility Day School Program for Dogs at Great Companions
The programming for this agility course will follow the group agility program, click here for details.

Owner will drop off their dog for agility training on Mondays from 9-11am.
• Program is paid for in 4-week packages; package must be used in 8 weeks. It will be assumed that package will be used in consecutive weeks. Owner must give 24 hours’ notice to cancel a session. Failure to do so will mean forfeiture of session.
• Four-week package fee is $200.
• Dogs MUST be accustomed to the crate
• Dogs must not be reactive or aggressive to humans or dogs, and must be up to date on rabies, distemper and parvo.
• Dogs must have had at least a puppy manners class or basic manners as a prerequisite.
• Dogs must arrive with the following: labeled leash and crate mat, smelly, meaty treats in small pieces (enough for several ten-minute training sessions), stuffed Kongs/chewies for crate time.
