On Friday, June 6, 2008, Ali gave birth to her daughter, Cyan Montana Smoyer, at 9:58AM. Cyan weighed in at 9 lbs 1 oz and 21" long. She was delivered via c-section after 17 hours of induced labor proved not to be productive. Cyan was 10 days overdue. Here are some pictures of the event. Mother and baby are happy and healthy.

Here's the happy girl. But just wait till midnight where she would turn on the foghorn and cry up a storm.

This is typical of Bing's proximity to Ali and Cyan. Usually Bing will be curled around Ali's feet in the living room or behind the glider in Cyan's room while Ali is feeding her. There is a Bing blog in development stages, just in case you needed a reminder that this website is about dog training.

Below are some pictures from July 3, when Cyan was in very good spirits.
