Cyan hasn't mastered speaking the English language yet, but it's pretty clear that she understands almost everything we say. She has taken the words catch, dog and ball and has mashed them all together into her own word, "Datch." When you view the pictures below you'll understand why all those words fit together to her. There is also a series of photos from Jim Thorpe where she became enamored with a bear, took a carriage ride, and saw a real live train. Whoo-whoo.
Her name is Cyan, but she calls herself Unga, which is short for her full name, Ungadinah.
On her tricycle at Trexler Park (taken on cell phone).
Yes, that is a leaf pasted to her head. She wore it for about 10 minutes before it fell off.
Water is another favorite of Cyan's. She will scurry quickly upstairs by herself (under supervision) to take a bath.
Another trip to Trexler Park. A round trip can take well over 1-1/2 hours because she loves to climb on benches
and run in circles on the roadway.
The above 4 pictures show how Cyan figures that chase + catch + ball = datch.
Cyan takes great pride in riding around on her kiddie cars.
